Thanks for another great tour (as usual)
We’ll be looking forward to see you again next year on some of your tours (Scotland, Isle of Man)
Viviane and Hugo
Firstly, many thanks for the Ireland tour this year. We had a wonderful time. Looking forward to 2023.
David and Alison
You organise a good event – don’t retire until you’ve done a few more!
Just a quick note to thank you for another great tour last week. Some of the lanes were a bit narrow for the i8, but we came through unscathed! Elsewhere we enjoyed some excellent ‘Mike’ driving roads!
Looking at your proposals for next year, we’d certainly be keen on the Isle of Man. Also probably south Wales and Shropshire and/or Dales, Borders and Northumberland.
Kind regards, Glen Mitton
Good morning Mike,
Just a quick thank you for last week. John and I had a great day with everyone last week. The Afternoon Tea was wonderful and the goodies we took home were a momento of the day.
Take care and see you in 2023.
Kind regards, Judith Parker
|“Home safe and sound after a great run on Kirkby Lonsdale motor clubs Little Devils Tour. A minor fuel problem on the way to the start was soon sorted and Olive then ran fault free all day. Was pleasantly surprised to get the organizers classic car of the tour award. Thank you to Mike and all the team. Most enjoyable.” Malcolm Grisdale
Just a quick e mail to say thanks for all your efforts on todays tour.
It’s the first event we have done which was organised by you and we both thoroughly enjoyed it.
Many thanks, car 21, Alan Ridehalgh
Thank you for your organisation and hospitality which was much appreciated and certainly a bargain!
We enjoyed meeting new people and hope that we can re-unite again on one of your tours next year
Once again many thanks
Regards, John & Ann
Thank you for organising the Cumbria Tour. The autumn colours in places were spectacular and vivid. It was great to meet up with friends again and some new ones. We shall now await the dates of your 2023 tours.
Best wishes, Ruth and Ray.
Hi Mike and Chip,
We thoroughly enjoyed the rally, all the tiny roads you took us down and delightful scenery. It was certainly a challenge and we didn’t get lost too often. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming 2 new people into their close knit group, which was lovely. My only complaint is that I ate too much good food.
It was a great event. We certainly plan on joining you again and look forward to receiving your 2023 brochure. Scotland sound really interesting if we can manage the dates.
Best wishes and look forward to seeing you next year.
Freda and John
Stella and I would like to thank you for your organisation and road book.
I hope we can join you on a future tour .
Regards, Mike and Stella
Hi Mike – super trip to Ireland! Many thanks.Brian and Helen
Thankyou for organising a superb Ireland tour. All your hard work putting it on was greatly appreciated. It is said ” See Naples and die” I would say join a Classic car tour MK to Ireland and be amazed at the landscape and enjoy the genuine Irish hospitality.
The beach party was a 1st with free wine and cabaret stripper. Never be surprised by what tour organisers arrange; from lunch in 5 star hotels to rearranging ferry crossings for those of a nervous disposition to high speed catamarans for a more sedate crossing across the Irish sea.
Thanks to you Mike and Martin we experienced really superb Ireland Tour.
2 very appreciative Kirk followers, Ray and Ruth.
Thanks for a great trip – excellent routes and a good workout for the car which I am pleased to say behaved superbly. In addition a good crowd to rally and socialise with.
Once more many thanks and best wishes,
Just to say thanks for another interesting tour. Even though much of it was in areas we knew quite well you managed to find some “new” roads and different places. I’d never heard of Potter Brompton though it’s not that far away from here. I was sorry to miss the last day, as it covered an area I’m not familiar with.
Just to say a big thanks for your custom yesterday, it slotted in very well for us and I was glad of the booking.
Hope the rest of the week runs smoothly and the weather is kind!
Kind regards, Sally Middlewood
After all the effort and work you have put in to organise these Tours a simple thank you seems inadequate, especially while recovering from significant surgery
One of the main reasons we enjoy your tours is they allow us meander through the inner workings of the British Countryside and see what’s there , again you didn’t disappoint.
Who else would find a nice little cafe behind a Buddhist Retreat down tree covered track !!
The contrast between the East Coast Wolds and the Lake District is quite something to see
At times it felt like we were driving through the middle of fields of perfect crops of wheat ,all the same low height and no weeds. A testament to the development of British Agriculture.
All the Hotels were very good , especially the Grinkle at Whitby ,it had a comfy feel to it .
Thanks again Mike Ann and Jan Ziomek
Many thanks as always for another great tour. We had a fantastic time on The Wolds to Windermere Tour’.
I enjoy reading your notes and in particular ‘Rosedale Chimney’. We made it up the steep climb in the MGB! The Lion Inn was a lovely old pub and the Abbey House Hotel was a perfect lunch halt.
Hopefully, we will be joining you again soon.
Take care and kind regards, Judith & John
You were missed on the Heart of England tour but Mal and Chip did an excellent job of making sure everything went smoothly for us all.
Thanks for organising the Tour Mike, we all realise that it couldn’t have happened if you had not had it ready before you were taken ill. Do hope you will be fit and well to do your next Tour and we look forward to seeing you in July.
Take care, Martin and Carol
I can tell you that Mal and Chip did an great job of standing in for you, and everyone on the tour had a thoroughly enjoyable couple of days. Mike and Carol are planning to book with you again, so that shows how well it went as they had never done a car tour at all before (and they even coped with the couple of road closures 😉)
All 3 hotels were well up to standard, worth using again, and the food at all 3 was good.
BRIAN AND HELEN
A note to say thank you for arranging the H of E Tour which all participants considered a success. Two notable features for us were the Riverside House Hotel, excellent room, food and friendly staff and the Ciabattas at the White Heart pub.
We both would like to thank Mal and Chip for stepping up to the mark. They both did their level best to ensure the tour went smoothly. To my knowledge they did not have a single complaint from the participants and everyone was very complimentary about how the event ran smoothly. Given the circumstances they did you proud. Very best wishes Mike. Ray and Ruth.
P.s. Despite the best efforts of the HS2 project causing mayhem with diversions, Kirk roads triumphed.
